  1. Assume that you have been asked to prepare a computer hardware and software budget. Your company has identified three classes of computer users:
    1. Class A employees use the computer for email, Web browsing, Internet connectivity, and limited document writing.
    2. Class B employees use the computer for all of the activities of Class A, plus they need to be able to read and create complicated documents. They must also be able to create and process large spreadsheets and small graphics files.
    3. Class C employees are data analysts who perform all of the tasks that Class A and Class B employees do. They also analyze data using programs that make extensive computations and produce large, complicated graphics.
  2. Using the Internet, determine two appropriate hardware and software alternatives for each employee class. SearchDell,Lenovo,Hewlett-Packard, and any other appropriate sites. In a Microsoft Word document, list the type of computers you will purchase. Include hardware information, suggested software, and costs for each class of employees. Explain your rationale.
