A recent survey suggested that more than one-quarter of registered U.S. voters believe an armed revolution might be necessary to protect our liberties.20 In a random sample of 250 voters in Western states, 73 indicated that an armed revolution might be necessary, and in a random sample of 275 voters in Eastern states, 85 said that an armed revolution might be necessary.
