You have to supply your customer 100 units of certain product every Monday and only on Monday. You obtain the product from a local supplier at Rs/ 60/- per units. The cost of ordering and transportation from the supplier are Rs. 150/- per order. The cost of carrying inventory is estimated at15% per year of the cost of the product carried. Determine the economic lot size and the optimal cost.
