Some studies show that a given parenting style can have different effects on children with different temperaments. The result is that parenting can function to make children in the same family different rather than alike. From your own experiences (whether you are a parent or not) do parents treat all siblings in the family in the same fashion, or are there clear inter-sibling differences? How might parenting style influence children's behavior within a family?
