Project Definition

1. Background and Rationale for the project

BRR Technology Solutions is an IT solutions company with a focus on client-centered outcomes. BRR Technology Solutions is seeking to build an online platform to monitoring, receiving (messages and error codes from machines and devices) and networking communication (between different departments) to be applied in all centers/ branches of the company, also known as Remotely monitoring and Networking System (RNS). The RNS-system is a communication and data collection platform (based on receiving the error codes automatically using wireless transceiver) for fast diagnosing and action on the path of settling the problems.

Project: Build a communication and data collection platform for fast diagnosing purpose.

2. Project goals and Objectives

- Research into local-Network with wireless transceiver Remotely monitoring and Networking System.
- System development and implementation of RNS-system.
Considerations:
- The collected data can be encrypted and stored securely.
- The admins are issued with personal username and password.

3. Project Resources
- Local networked system to support the operating of wireless transceivers. - (SQL server, Postgres) as database.
- Graphical user interface application to access the database and perform sharing information and communication.

4. Desired Outcomes/Deliverables
- Cyber Security Analysis.
- A fully functional RNS-system.

Write captions for all figures. Figure caption should be written at the bottom of each figure. When you reference in main text use capital ‘F’ for Figure.Eg, As shown in Figure 1, … Explain Gantt chart, figures and tables in main text. Cite all tables and figures in main text. (Cross-referencing) Project diagram should be in block diagram. All design approaches should include use case diagrams or flow charts or block diagrams. Explain each design approach with reference to diagram. Costs and specification in budget section should have references and list them in reference section.
