Pull and review the financial statements for Kohls. Please illustrate the articulation of the financial statements. For example, we learned that the net income of an organization if not paid out in form of dividend is retained within the organization and becomes apart of retained earnings. Retained earnings is an equity item on the balance sheet. In addition the statement of cash flows reconciles the change in cash from one period to next. Further, the statement of stockholders equity, shows activity within the equity portion of balance sheet.

For example - income per the income statement is tied to retained earnings on the balance sheet (except you would include the dollar amounts as well).
