We are required to create a digital clock for the upcoming project. The class has been very disorgainzed and hard to follow, thus I've had a hard time keeping up with what's actually going on and don't quite understand all the material.
All I really know is that we were told that using D-Latches should make it a lot easier. The whole thing is being done in a program, DSCH, which will simulate things. I really have no idea where to begin with this, so any guidance or assitance is vastly appreciated.
All we are required to do is to show two displays to make up the hours of a clock; minutes and seconds aren't necessary for the project. Each tick will make the display increase by 1, up to 12, and then reset back to 01.
A pacemaker is programmed to deliver pulses a certain times every minute for a patient with heart block. A 0.5µF capacitor controls the pulse discharges through a 2M resistor. One pulse is delivered every time the fully charged capacitor loses 50%
The value of the element in the first column is the number of the row. The rest of the elements are equal to the sum of the element above them and the element to the left. When executed, the program asks the user to enter values for n and m.
a) Based on your decision create a sampled signal of the sum of the two sines, and plot the magnitude of the zero centered FFT with property frequency annotation. Did it work Check with the data tip tool.
Design low pass active filter with a cutoff frequency t at 10kHz or more by 30db and have the pass band gain positive that does not deviate from 20db by more than 3db. The pass band frequency needed is 800Hz and below Derive transfer function
An eight-point real-valued signal s has DFT given by S = [ 3 x1 4 -4+3j -2 x2 x3 1-2j ] A. Compute s[0] - s[1] + s[2] - s[3] + s[4] - s[5] + s[6] - s[7] using one entry of X only. B. Determine the values of x1, x2, x3.
In comparing the behaviour of an n-channel MOSFET with a p-channel device having identical geometry and threshold voltage, it is found that the n-channel FET has a greater drain current than that of the p-channel FET.
Indicate what data type you would use for the following variables: (a) the temperature (b) the number of days in a week (c) the number of days in a year (d) the number of months in a year
Calculate the output resistance of the device, dIC/dVC, for 0
What is the maximum number of consecutive bits that are in error for a transmission through this channel if the data rate is 10Kbps? If the data rate is 11 Mbps?
Overflow occurs when a result is too large to be represented accurately given a word size. Underflow occurs when a result is too small to be represented correctly (for example, a negative result while doing unsigned arithmetic.).
What are the respective advantages and disadvantages of the asynchronous and synchronous communication modes from a reliability perspective?
Compute the unit-pulse response h[n] for the discrete-time system y[n+2]2y[n+1]+y[n]=x[n] (for n = 0, 1, 2, 3).
