One of the things that I look for whenever I am looking at new employment is the values that they had - but, I also have to be realistic that these may not always match my own values. This being said, we have individuals in our organizations who may not share the same values as we do and as such we may encounter differences. When speaking of values we are speaking of personal believes and behaviors which have usually been taught to us. As such, it may be very hard to change those values and have our employees believe in the same things and as such make them better fits for our organizations.

How can we influence these types of behaviors? What examples can you share?
