Assignment

TOPIC- New Technology:

As we have seen already, agencies have limited budgets and have to be both frugal and efficient in how they spent their money. As you also know, there is a huge industry devoted towards developing products for police departments, from weapons, uniforms, computer software and hardware, there is a vast array of offerings for agencies to spend their money on.

Besides the actual cost of the item, there are many factors that must be considered in deciding whether to purchase some new item of technology or not.

Excluding the cost of the item, come up with a list of at least four, but no more than six, factors that you think are the most important to consider when buying new technology for the Virtual Police Department. Rank the factors in order and explain why you picked that factor and ranked it as you did.
