You are on a team that will recover a ship from the sea. You have been given the task to perform a few calculations to move your team forward. A crane is required to lift the 4.2 * 10^7 kg steel body of a ship out of water. Determine:

a) the tension in the crane's cable when the body is submerged in the water, and

b) the tension when the body is completely out of water.

The density of steel is 7.8 * 10^3 kg/m^3 and the density of water is 1.0 * 10^3 kg/m^3.
