Two objects with different masses are stuck together and attached to the ends of two strings coming down from a mass less, frictionless pulley. If the masses are separated such that the heavier mass is at the end of one rope and the lighter mass is at the end of the other rope, explain will the tension in the rope change? Why or why not?
