Write a research paper, not essay. It would be the second part of a paper, the first one didnt get a very good grade so I need this one. I posted the first part of the paper here but as requirenment of this second paper is using the first part, it must be used but making corrections to the comments made by the teacher.
The paper should be around 2500 words long.
• This paper should consist of three parts:
• A section outlining the nature of your chosen topic and explaining why it warrants academic research. In achieving these goals, this section ought to make reference to existing academic work on the topic;
• A section introducing your chosen theoretical perspective. This section ought to explain why your chosen theoretical perspective is appropriate given your research topic (this section should be mostly cut and paste from your Essay Part I, though you should edit this following your feedback);
• A section that offers a preliminary application of your theoretical perspective to your research topic. This section ought to: i) Identify one or more research questions (that are clearly informed by your research perspective), and; ii) Outline what research on your chosen topic you would carry out given your chosen research perspective. Importantly, while you do not need to carry out this research, you should seek to outline a realistic research plan that might help you to answer your research questions;
• It is essential that reports are submitted with full referencing and we recommend using the Harvard system.
Your result in this piece of assessment will depend upon whether or not you demonstrate the following:
• A thorough understanding of your chosen topic, as evidenced in part by your citing of relevant research;
• A capacity for critical analysis as demonstrated by the quality of your alignment of your chosen topic with your chosen research perspective;
• A capacity for creativity and critical thought, as evidenced by the quality of the design of your research project (your questions and suggested research activities);
• An ability to present your work professionally through the use of clear and scholarly language and correct referencing (ideally, using the Harvard system).
