Explain the electron configuration of B is 1s2, 2s2, 2p1 if each core electron that is the 1s electrons were entirely effective in shielding the valance electrons that is 2p and 2s electrons from the nucleus also the valence electrons did not shield one another, define what would be the shielding constant(s) as well as the effective nuclear charge Zeff for the 2s and 2p electrons?

In fact the shielding constants for the 2p and 2s electrons in B are slightly different. They are 2.42 and 2.58 respectively. Compute the Zeff for these electrons and define the differences from the values you found in part a.
