Anna is a fit and healthy 83 year old German woman who moved to Australia an year with her son who recently died. Anna speaks some English, but not enough to be confident to speak clearly to others. When Anna's son died, community services were contacted and a worker was assigned to support Anna who was quite overcome with grief, filled with fear about facing Isle alone in a foreign country, and very socially isolated. Anna is able to cook, but she is afraid to go out of the house to go food shopping, so her supplies are limited to what was in the house when her son died suddenly a few weeks ago. Anna is sure her son owed the house they live in, but she does not know if it was left to her or even if her son had a will. Anna has a pension from Germany that she accesses fortnightly.
