Imagine that you've come up with a way of enlarging single cells to such a degree that a DNA duplex has a diameter of 0.1 mm — about the thickness of a human hair. If you were to do that, how long a "hair" would the entire human genome be (assuming the DNA is not compacted)? How big would a single cell be? How big would that cell's nucleus be?
