This module's readings introduce us to key concepts: the tourist, the attraction/destination, the gaze.

Discuss what these concepts mean in the study of tourism. What/who is a tourist? what makes a destination? What is particular to the tourist gaze? Be sure to include examples and references from the readings and film.
