This assessment task requires you to describe, and then justify, two teaching strategies.
Describe
• The key features of each strategy
• The learning context in which their use is identified in the literature as being most appropriate
• The impact of each strategy on student learning (i.e. in what ways does each strategy facilitate student learning?)
• How each strategy contributes to effective teaching practice.
You must also justify the use of each strategy: why use this strategy in the context you have described?
You will draw on scholarly literature in describing and justifying the strategies.
