A rigid container of volume 0.5 m3 is placed on a hot plate. Initially the container holds a two phase mixture of liquid water and vapor at 1 bar with a quality of 0.5. As heating continues determine the following:

a) The temperature when the pressure reaches 1.5 bars

b) The mass of vapor present initially and at 1.5 bars

c) The pressure and temperature when the container holds only saturated vapor.
