It is best for professionals to use actuarial assessments to evaluate offenders' risk levels with more accuracy such as Sex Offender Risk Appraisal Guide, Rapid Risk Assessment of Sexual Offense Recidivism, Static-99, Minnesota Sex Offender Screening Tool-Revised, Violence Risk Appraisal Guide, and the Psychopathy Checklist-Revised.

The ones I believe are more effective are (SORAG), (RRASOR), Static-99, (MnSOSTR), (VRAG), and the (PCL-R) which are used to determine the offenders stable and dynamic characteristics, community treatment, and risk level to find the treatment that works best in bring positive changes to sex offenders.
