A 0.548-kg ball is attached to one end of an aluminum wire that has a diameter of 1.44 mm and an unstretched length of 0.651 m. The other end of the wire is fixed to the top of a post. The ball rotates about the post in a horizontal plane at a rotational speed such that the angle between the wire and the horizontal is 5.10°. Calculate the tension in the wire. Calculate the increase in its length due to the tension in the wire.
