The electric potential of a ring of radius R and total charge q is given by V = kq/√(R2 + x2) where x is the distance from the center. This formula is valid only along the central axis. Use this result to calculate the electric potential at a distance x along the central axis of an annulus (a solid disk with a hole in the middle) of inner radius a, outer radius b, and total charge Q.
