A block is projected up an inclined, frictionless plane withan intial speed v0. With that intialvlocity, the block travels a distance D and momentarily comesto halt before sliding down the inclined plane. Use

a) kinematic equations and

b) work-kinetic energy theorem to show how the distance traveled by the block depends on the angle of the incline.

c) If the inclined plane has the coefficient of friction μ, what is the direction of the frictional force? and rewrite the expression for the displacement D.
