Analyze two (2) methods of discovery that both the prosecution and the defense commonly use to advance criminal trials. Compare the advantages and disadvantages of using each method that you have analyzed, and determine which one (1) you believe to be the most effective in the pretrial process. Provide a rationale for your response.

Generate at least two (2) arguments that either support or refute the idea that a defendant is better off having a bench trial as opposed to a jury trial. Provide a rationale for your response.
