DISCUSS THE PROCESSES AND ACTIVITIES REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN

It is imperative to understand that Change is important to the success of the organization. And in order to sustain the internal and external competition with the time lapses, the changes need to be applied effectively such that the organizational goals are synchronized with the market trends. It is essential to align the organizational workforce with the individual goals and objectives of the hospitality industry. On the other had to ensure that the goals of the employees are well aligned with those of the organization is also essential to the success of the employee and the company as a whole.

A personal and professional development plan is responsible for ensuring that the growth of the company and the employee is relatively inter-dependent upon each other.

There should also be a linkage between the goals of an individual and the company per say. This helps in aligning the company and the employee in a unidirectional approach therefore making the ratio of success to be achieved much higher.

UNDERTAKE AND DOCUMENT DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES AS PLANNED

The development activities planned are in accordance with the plan that has been drafted. The major requirements that have been seen are for the areas of decision making, leadership and time management modules.

I have joined self-grooming classes in the neighborhood and am actively working upon the aspect of presentation skills enhancement. In addition to this, the classes will also help me attain the level of confidence that I wish ah to exhibit. It is also important for me to understand language and maintain the verbal and nonverbal communications effectively, in order to maintain the business.

I have also enrolled in the BTECH HND program to be able to develop my limitations into my strengths with the help of a well-developed PPDP.

REFLECT CRITICALLY ON OWN LEARNING AGAINST ORIGINAL AIMS AND OBJECTIVES SET IN THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN

In order to achieve the HND I have enrolled in the classes that help me attain the professional qualification that I lack in order to succeed further in my career. Secondly, in order to develop my skills I wish to seek opportunities in the avenues of decision making and problem solving. This will help me through situational learning model wherein I will be subjected to real time leaning situations of making decisions and solving the issues at work. This will instill the confidence in me to take decisions on behalf of my team and will also enhance my public speaking and presentation skills due to the presentation and accountability factors that are associated with it.

Situational learning model is best applied with the scenario as I will get an opportunity to face real time situations as far as my limitations are concerned and will have the opportunity to apply real time learning in order to ensure that the right steps of decision making and problem solving have been taken.

UPDATE THE DEVELOPMENT PLAN BASED ON FEEDBACK AND EVALUATION

Based on the feedback plan it is essential to reevaluate the targets that have been defined and work on the objectives that have been added to the PPDP. There may be some elements that have to be added based on the new SWOT analysis or some aspects that need to be removed, depending upon the progress that has been made. 

In the evaluation and feedback of the plan that I made for myself, I need to act the factor about time management as well. Certain theories may be applicable as a team member but for the transition from the role of the team member to a managerial position, time management and multitasking need to be effectively applied.
