Previously, fewer women used to make it to the top tier in theirrespective fields and organizations but with modern day corporate settlements and educationaluplift, more women have been able to break through the glass ceiling and become recognizedwith their notable contributions to the organization and respective fields. We are fortunate to be living in an era where gender equality is being involved in communitiesand work surroundings, subsequent in the increasing number of women who are makinginfluences in different activities across the world. There are single and married female'smanagers, company presidents, executives, business owners, women doctors, pilots, engineers,lawyers and politicians definitely, the world has changed. The female population is no longerpoor to the house responsibility domestic chores. Women now have the option to become asindependent as men (Messner, 2000). Carlisle (2012), explains that single women are performing their role as managers, instructors inbanking field of life but still problems facing for them. The main three issues exist as in theirfamily pressure, societal behavior and workplace harassment. Being as single woman engage inher professional life the perceptions in their family that creates negatively view on them. Societyis not giving them their legitimate status and these women are facing a lot of problems. They areignored in the decision making development and they are not encouraged to higher positions3 even if they deserve to be. These women suffering from different issues just because of singlestatus in their professional field that why they felt insecurity (Cany, 2011). Importance of StudyThe study is valuable because result of this study present a picture about the issues and life ofunmarried professional womenof bank (HBL) Rawalpindi. It gives hints about the efforts bygovernment for providing rights and facilities to women. On the other hand, the research isvaluable in studying attitudes of male society towards women in the banks. Critical analysis ofthese attitudes is helpful to identify required changes for policy makers, educationists andcommon people to modify roles and attitudes of people to bring excellence in the lives of womenof banks.Research MethodologyFollowing methodological tools will be used to obtain relevant information.•Participant Observation• Interview• Field notes• Sampling• Case study4 In research methodology chapter, our main focus is on sampling.SamplingThere were many sampling guides available such as snowball sampling; but the researcher usedthe technique of purposive and snowball sampling keeping in view the scope of the research aspurposive sampling provides judgment to the target sample and clears the purpose of theresearch, helping in identification of the concerned individuals.RESULTSResults of this study can help society to get view about required commendable changes in socialstructure and advancement towards a balance life for women professional women. This can be astep to give a respectful status to women in Pakistani society.Ultimately, this will help women in playing positive role in their life. Professional bankingwomen and their peeress need to train them in social behavioral approach regarding workplaceharassment and professionalism. Case ScenarioThe case involves discussion of two workplace colleagues that started of us professional debatebut quickly turned into discriminatory and degrading remarks surrounding women dressing inoffice environment and in general. The male member then stated how women in profession oftenuse their sex to their advantage and their dressing to incite sexual arousal in their malecounterparts which leads to workplace harassment scandals. The male member also stated hisintentions of penalizing such females with actions that are beyond comprehension of a saneindividual and border line on societal dysfunctionality5 Detail of IncidentI was working in my office. When my colleague entered in my room with a office file in hishands. He put file in front of me and took a chair. He wants to discuss some field issues.During the discussion he turned the topic towards dress of women. He said women herselfexploit the sexual urge of male with help of their dressings. He shared some name of ourcolleagues that must be raped after some time due to their dressings.AnalysisThis study revealed that what sort of stereotyping and discrimination is being faced byprofessional women that is further fuelled by family pressure, societal imbalance and religiousissues embedded in the culture, amongst many others. Many of these issues have foundembodiment in traditional thinking patterns of the surrounding societies whereas many are theoutright results of narrow mindness of its members. But society shouldn't be forgetting a keyaspect of women fraternity as they are responsible for bringing in life to the world and providepriceless comfort to their families and peers which is why any inequality or discriminationtowards them should be suppressed and women professionalism should be encouraged for thebetterment of the societyConclusionThe findings of the present study showed that single professional women have different issuesintheir traditional and non-traditionalprofessional fields which support the notion that singleprofessional women of who are working have severe issues in their personal and profession life.6 As many researchers have also outlinedthat single professional woman faced work pressure,family responsibility and lack of appreciation in society for failing to maintain a healthy lifebalance. According to thisit can be concluded that a single professional women in our society andworkplace have many hurdles and barriers some of which are naturalbut most are pressured onthem due to religious, social, economic and cultural setup. There are the inequalities in oursociety because of which single professional women have to face questions on their character aswell. These inequalities are found in every sphere and phase of the society. The issues andchallenges we can observed the clear picture of issues faced by professional women Pakistan.Females faced discrimination and face harassment in their professional and personalenvironment these all images show that single professional women are weak and need diresupport to make a socially acceptable character. 7 "
