Introduction and OverviewAustralia is the youngest country compared to the other countries. The people ofAustralia follow many cultures. This report aims to accomplish the field observation task for theplace in Australia. The vitality and the built-form of the town in Australia are observed. The taskrequires preparing number of maps for determining the patterns of street life in a selected studyarea, and key built-form variables for the same selected place. The selected place's spatialassociations between street-life and built-form are required to be analyzed. The use of key toolsand techniques in terms of conceptual and methodological aspects are experienced, whileanalyzing the built-form at an urban design scale. This experience is expected to enhance theunderstand built-form factors and vitality?s relationship.The mainobjective of this report is to have clear understanding of using the tools andtechniques based on the important concept and method, to analyze the urban design scale. Theeight steps has to be followed in an order as mentioned below:? To select the study area.? To obtain the base maps.? To record the street-life / vitality.? To map the active and inactive frontages.? To map the land-use. ? To mapthe building grain-size.? To map some other variables.? To analyze and write the findings.The above steps will be shown for the study area. The respective images will be provided anddescribed accordingly. 2. South Australia-Mallala TownThe department of governmental and information services is answerable for themanagement, construction and conservation of community building in South Australia. In SouthAustralia, DAIS (The Department of Administrative and Information Services) and the section offinance and treasury distributed a strategic asset management basis for municipal assets as amain part of an Asset management strategy series. In 1999, the Government of South Australia?sframe work mainly motivated on merits of clients and well-versed decision making. The policy1 addresses management level problems like government schemes, agency strategies, workprinciples and capability management with due attention of life cycle function at forecasting,maintenance, procurement and divestment level phases. The department of administrative andinformation services uses these functions, which includes asset management plan, difficultmanagement, demand management level and strategies, costing in life cycle, agency data basesand recording, to increase the asset management. The department of administrative andinformation services also published strategic asset management rules. The guidelines andprocesses include a project beginning process for principal works(Petrow, 2013). The BLAMS (Building and Last Asset Management System) as a database obtains theinformation on particular buildings and lands. The building and land asset management system(BLAMS) list works with seven ranges of data, which are inter connected. They are, the assetrecord registers, financial details in historical methods, base data, costs in life cycle site andresources register, asset plans, maintenance plan in annual reports. The owners and managers areprovided with the following guidelines by BLAMS.? Plan and analyses the allocation of construction resources, acquisition and removal ofconstruction and lands.? Develops an asset record register of buildings and plans, creating the annual financesreports and enhanced future of project in predicted maintenance expenditure.? Produce the inclusive maintenance contract tender documents, associated withcontractual documentation and the practical data sheets for each item enclosed by thepreservation contracts.3.
