"Q-> Design a network for kids’ corner school network.INTRODUCTION: OVERVIEW OF THE KIDS CORNER SCHOOL NETWORKThe school will have many given floors that need to have a Computer network so that the variousteachers can access the network from the Classes. It will also allow the teachers to access thenetwork from the staff room. A network is basically an interconnection of various computers in order to share or access aresource. A computer network ensures all the devices connected to it can access the data withoutany problems .This could include the various mobile devices along with the laptops.This will allow the teachers present in the classrooms to use their desktop computers which aretwo in number in every class and access the internet from either the Classroom or the cafeteria.The teacher can use the internet to teach various concepts to the children or illustrate a conceptusing YouTube videos. This is only possible when the computer is connected to the network.The school network will also allow the students to connect to the internet from the computer labsand have access to important Information related to their studies. This will increase theirknowledge about various topics. The students in the class can use 20 tablets in the class to accessthe internet and various tutorials present on the school website. The teachers (2) at front officecan also connect to the network easily and check who has entered and gone out of the school.COMPONENTS AND REQUIREMENTS FOR THE NETWORK:The network has many components .These requirements are very important to ensure a Networkcan function properly. (1)The first component is a network interface card which contains the network adapter .Thishelps a computer to talk to another computer and send messages. It basically serves as a mediumto transfer data. It works with the help of data link protocol to send the data to the rightdestination.(2)Another component is that of a hub. The main purpose of a hub is to split the networkconnection into multiple computers. The hub transfers the data over the network which is pickedup by the destination computer.(3) The third component is a switch. It is used to connect the source and destination directly andthere is no need for a broadcast address like in a hub. This ensures the data is send to the rightcomputer.(4)The next component is a router. This is used to create a wireless network which allowsmultiple devices to connect to the network. The single internet connection can be used bymultiple devices easily by connecting the wire from the model into the router.(5) The fifth component is the modem. It allows the users to connect to the internet over thetelephone lines. The modem is provided by the internet service providers which ensures fastaccess to the data by the various devices connected to the network.(6) The sixth component are the devices like tablets, mobile phones, laptops and Desktopcomputers which have to be connected to the network to gain to the resources. (7)The seventhcomponent is the internet service provider (ISP) which is through a telephone company (forexample airtel india). This provides the access to the internet depending on the plans which userhas purchased. The telephone wire goes into the modem easily. (8)The eighth component is theunique Internet Protocol address for the computer. This allows the computer to access the internet through the ISP. This is unique and incase of any crime the person can be tracked usinghis IP address.(9)The next component is the network password. This password is kept a secretand is shared between only the people who want to access the network. This ensures secrecy andprivacy of data and allows multiple devices to connect to the internet. (10)Finally the tenthcomponent is the wires .This can include Ethernet cables or coaxial cables. These cables go intothe modem from telephone line and from modem into the router. This creates the wireless accessto the internet.
