For the awareness of eco-friendly cars and brand image of Prius, companydecided to spend significantly at promotional activities.2. Stakeholder analysisCustomers- Customers are pillar of Toyota and company is committed to provide safe vehicleand improve its product based on feedback. The car market can be classified into two main types4 Communication plan- B2B and private Consumers. Customers usually buy cars either for hire, rent, or for companyfleets. These are very few in number and are already familiar to Toyota. They can be reachedthrough business press or the conventional media. Due to environmental features, Prius seemsparticularly interesting for corporate customers (low operating cost). Dealers are also consideredas customers, but they differ from the end consumers in one aspect – they don?t have freedom tochoose. They should buy and sell the cars that the company (Toyota)makes. Nearly 80dealers outof Toyota?s 227,in the UK will be equipped to deal with the Prius and renamed as „HybridTechnology Centres.? The private car market is a very important one.
