"Among the Public Health Departments across America the Public Health Departmentof Georgia is the leading name. It has achieved several records in the field of disease prevention,treating injuries, and assisting the disabled to develop and proceed towards a better and healthierfuture. It has prepared the state to deal with major crises during natural calamities. In the year2011, The General Assembly concentrated on the restoration of the DPH into its control. The lastthirty years the DPH was although under the subjugation of several other departments.
