Huge manpower needed for executingthe functionalities of a retail sector. Training and development program is highly necessary inthis kind of sector for making employees aware of the work culture. Customers are the primestakeholders in the retail industry. With the help of training and development the HR departmentcan enhance the skills and knowledge of the employees so that they can deliver quality service tothe consumers. Human Resource Management plays a crucial role in the overall training anddevelopment of the employees of the respective organizations which in turn significantlyenhances the overall organizational performance. According to Bratton, 2007, the overall process of training and development provides thebusiness organizations with the beneficial advantage of providing their respective consumers orcustomers with efficient and high quality services and facilities through their proficiently trainedand skilled employees or personnel. In this research approach quantitative analysis will be done to judge the feedback of theemployees of the ASDA group (Gilmore and Williams, 2009). Data can be collected throughprimary and secondary sources. For collecting primary sources employees of the ASDA will bechosen as respondents. Secondary information will be gathered from the journal articles andbooks regarding the topic. With the help of this approach respondents opinion on the training anddevelopment can be evaluated. Sampling methodSampling is of two types. One is purposive sampling and other is convenient sampling.Purposive sampling will be approached in this research. 100 respondents will be selected fromthe employees and higher officials of ASDA Company (Jones, 2008). These respondents will beapproached a questionnaire by which the impact of training and development in the organizationcan be understood. The questionnaire will be also posted in the social media so that respondentscan give their feedbacks through online. QuestionnaireA questionnaire will be raised to gather the feedbacks. Respondents will be selected throughdemographic survey. With the help of it respondents can be segmented in different age, genderand work experience. Questionnaire will be consisted of multiple bounded questions.Respondents can give their feedbacks through liker scale. 6 | P a g e Pilot studyThis is the initial phase of the research survey. Before going to approach 100 respondents, 10respondents will be chosen randomly and they will be approached the same questionnaire. Aftergetting their views justification of the survey can be obtained. Validity and reliability of the surveyThe overall research survey will be valid and reliable. The information will be collected throughauthentic and dependable sources. The outcomes will be crosschecked for repeated times. Ethical considerationThe overall research approach will follow all kind of ethical considerations. Privacy of the datawill be maintained significantly. Anticipated OutcomesThe outcomes of the research approach will be analyzed through proper tools and techniques.The relation between different variables will be shown through charts and graphs.Crosstabulation will be done among different variables (Jones, 2008).
