It is actually a neurological disorder that affectsthe very ability of the person to recognize words, decode and spell it. This kind ofproblem is mostly seen in children. The result of this problem is that they find themselvesto have poor reading fluency. Some of the children may even find reading out loud to thepart of the problem. Thus the common features of Dyslexia are reading slowly, makingmistakes in spelling out words, problems learning new words and even sounds andconsonants related, and lack of fluency. (Harley, 2001)Various causes of DyslexiaAccording to the latest research the orthographic coding is not done correctly inthis case. The person suffering from this problem finds alphabets to be placed in incorrectform mostly in the middle of the word. Thus a problem is also observed in thedevelopment of phonological awareness. It is not a disease but a different way ofresponding of brain which is either acquired during birth, or even hereditarily. This wayreading becomes challenge for children facing this problem. A student facing thisproblem will find difficult to decode written alphabets forcing his to use his ideas andthus hindering the speed of reading.(Kennison, 2013)4Significance of Diagnosis of Dyslexia and Other Related LearningDisabilities. This introduction of this problem to the sufferer in the earlier stage affects histhoughts and outlook towards life. That person may feel impaired and considere himselfto be an abnormal human being. Thus a proper care and interference by the parents arerequired in this case. A proper diagnosis by the associated doctor would help inrecognizing the problem and getting unique instructions in relevant skills that affectingthe reading skills of the person. Teachers can be instructed about the student problem and thus saving the childfrom any kind of harassment that may arise due to teacher’s asking to read in class.Proper care and attention can be given to the student suffering from this problem.Although the normal intelligence of such student is just like others the reading abilitiesare affected due to this problem. Therefore proper care is taken in class that the studentdoes not have to read or spell words before other children. (Ramus, 2003)Therefore diagnosis helps in identifying the problem and even other related one sothat precautions can be taken to avoid any harassment for children by teacher, parent orany class fellows.Occurrence of Dyslexia with the Other SLDDyslexia is mostly found in the childhood stage. Many of the young people maysuffer from this kind of neurological deformity in reading with the passage of time. Theproblem is mostly a neurological disorder which may occur after birth. Some of thepeople may acquire it through hereditary with their parents, grandparents and any other5close relative facing similar problem. Some of the people may gain this problem due toinability to develop phonological awareness required to learn new words and pronouncethem. This problem can occur alone or even get together with Dysgraphia which is adisability to write down the right words and form correct spelling in the sentences.(Kennison, 2013)Instructional Activities People especially children facing this problem can get benefitted by the activitiesin class room that help in learning to form certain letters. Thus activities like keeping inline puzzles to develop control over reading, connecting dashes or dots to complete formsof letters and read out sentences to find the correct manner for making sentences with lessgrammatical mistakes. Some of the other techniques that can be used in this line includestracing of words, imitating the role model and even the teacher, and finally learning tocopy letters through a class game. (Harley, 2001)This way the children suffering from this problem learn to read even the wronglydisplayed letter by their brain in the correct form and spell it out clearly. Thus the readingability and fluency both rises with the practice of the above mentioned techniques.(Kennison, 2013)Reversals or Errors in the Production of Other Letters by Children withDyslexia.Children suffering from Dyslexia tend to complaint about errors in the depictionof words. That is the production of other letters by brain does not come in the normal6manner. For instance, the letters of word Teapot may be identified by the children facingdyslexia as letter e or letter a to be upside down or changing its actual place. Thus waythe sequence of letters seems to be in the wrong disposition placed by their respectivebrains. These errors are although considered as symptoms than actual problems ofreading. The child given proper medical assistance and special help to learn readingtechniques and acquire special skills will be able to overcome these problems byestimating the right form of word in that place and speaking out the correct word withcorrect letters. (Kennison, 2013)ConclusionDyslexia is a reading ability that makes it difficult for the student suffering fromthis problem to actually decode the word and spell out the right form. Also the studentsuffering from this problem find difficult to fluently speak out the sentences and like tospeak loud. This problem can be identified at the earlier stage by proper care andinterference by parents. Together with the teacher, parents and doctors guidelines thisproblem can be overcome. The new method of identifying the words can be developed instudent which can help him in identifying the right letter and improve his way oflearning. Therefore regular diagnose and proper treatment and help in the case ofDyslexia. (Ramus, 2003)My thoughtsIt’s a competitive world today. People especially the parents are looking formaking their child competitive better in all fields. They want their children to get the "
