In 2021, a LinkedIn article highlighted how the pandemic has shifted candidates' expectations dramatically - and perhaps permanently. The article also highlighted the need for organizations to meet and exceed candidates' shifting expectations, by creating a candidate experience that leaves applicants with the best possible impression of their employer brand.
Two of the five candidates' trending new expectations highlighted in the LinkedIn article are:
1. Candidates expect companies to give them a feel for the culture, even in a remote environment
2. Candidates are more invested than ever in hearing about DEI efforts
Group Project Question:
Write a research paper presenting your suggested recruitment and selection strategies, programs, policies, processes and recommendations that would help organizations address the two trending candidates' expectations listed above.
Your suggested recruitment and selection strategies, programs, policies, processes and recommendations should focus on the future post pandemic workplace not the past.
Your suggested recruitment and selection strategies, programs, policies, processes and recommendations should be ccompliant with the appropriate Canadian employment laws and potential union restrictions.
