The intent of this assignment is to encourage you to think about your strengths and weaknesses, in the context of what we know about the needs of employers and the knowledge and skills associated with the sociology major. 1. Think about the sociology courses you have liked the most. What was it about them that you found particularly appealing? What are the papers or assignments/projects that make you the most proud? What do you find most interesting or appealing about your studies so far in sociology?

2. How would you explain sociology to a potential employer (or a friend or relative!) who is not familiar with the discipline (this is your own definition and not from a textbook)

3.
