KD is a 20 year old female that was brought by EMS after she jumped out of a moving car. The day began normally with her parents asking her if she wanted to go hiking with them. After the hike they were in the car discussing KD having an additional dog and her parents told her that she has to get a job in order to have an additional dog and she jumped out of the car shortly after. She said that she is unsure why she jumped out of the car. Her parents having experience with her impulsivity stated that it was odd for her to jump out of the car because she will usually gets overwhelmed with emotions before doing something impulsive. It was reported that KD was soon to get her GED after having a particularly difficult time in school. What is thr possible cause for KD to jump out of the car ?
