The Drivers Technology Association in the United Kingdom recently studied the behavior of drivers with and without radar detectors. A random sample of 550 users and 562 non-users was obtained. In the past three years, 108 users and 68 non-users have had an accident.

a. Find a 99% confidence interval for the true proportion of radar-detector users who have had an accident in the past three years.

b. Find a 99% confidence interval for the true proportion of radar-detector non-users who have had an accident in the past three years.

c. Is there any evidence to suggest the two true proportions are different? Justify your answer.
