The school has a top ranked School of Medicine, Michael G. Foster School of Business and College of Engineering. Around three fourths of University of Washington graduates lives in the state. The famous alumni include Thomas Foley, Chris DeWolfe, co-creator of MySpace; former U.S. Speaker of the House; and Irv Robbins, co founder and the namesake of Baskin Robbins ice cream chain.
