The university has highly ranked graduate offerings through its College of Education Mays Business School, Human Development and Dwight Look College of Engineering,. The University, which is known as a research institution, provides unique programs including the only veterinary medicine school in Texas. The University also has a campus in Qatar, where around 300 students enroll. The famous alumni of Texas A&M include dozens of politicians like Louie Gohmert, U.S. Representatives Joe Barton and a handful of the beauty pageant winners, including the Miss USAs Kandace Krueger and the Melissa McConnell.
