History
•First founded as Lady Byron School in the year 1860, the education institution as it exists today was actually formed from merger of Thames Valley College of Higher Education, Ealing College of Higher Education, the London College of Music and Queen Charlotte's College of Health Care Studies.
•In the year 1991, this new entity was inaugurated as Polytechnic of West London. In the year 1992 the Privy Council bestowed full university status and Location and transport.
•The University is situated in West London on its sites in Ealing and Brentford and unified by its new name the University of West London.
•The University is in the center of one of the UK’s most successful business areas.
Course flexibility
•Flexible learning options are provided, including full- and part-time and work-based learning and distance learning.
Teaching standards
•In the year 2009, the university was only to win the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for outstanding achievement in hospitality education – and the University regularly win awards from major industry bodies.

•There is a Library on each campus, which bring together our library, media and computing provisions, providing fully-networked, open approch work stations
