History
•Established as a university in the year 1992, University of East London is a modern university with the heritage dating back to the year 1898.
•The ultra-modern Docklands Campus, opened in the year 2000, was London's first new university campus in the 50 years.

Students with feasible business plans will be capable of taking advantage of a year’s free office space and advice on graduation

•UEL was in 2011 said to be the most improved university for sport at the BUCS awards, having jumped 43 positions in the league table and targets to be the best university in London for sport by 2015
