Concurrency
It is the situation in the Petri net that arises while a fork like transition-place system exists such as firing of a transition deposits tokens in more than one output places.
Concurrency is a significant attribute of Automated Manufacturing System or AMS depicted by Petri nets. This can be shown in following figure (c).
