The point Q is located in second quadrant that is y units just above HP and x units behind the vertical plane.
The elevation q′ of the point Q will be on y units above the HP and on the projector perpendicular to X-Y.
The plan q of the point Q will be on the HP at a distance x units just behind VP.
The horizontal plane is rotated clockwise till it coincides along with VP. The plan q will then come above X-Y and upon the similar projector on a distance x units above X-Y line.
