Protons:
The part of an atom which gives an element its identity is nucleus of it. It is made up of 2 types of particles, neutron and proton. These are extremely dense. A tea- spoonful of these particles, packed together tightly, would weigh tons. Protons and neutrons have just about the same mass, but the proton has an electric charge while the neutron does not.
