The HR manager was amazed at the hostility provoked by the introduction of job sharing and multi-tasking at his office. As far as he was concerned, these changes would make the job more interesting and take the drudgery out of the routine work. He had arranged for training to take place and he knew labour turnover would take care of any excess staff.
