What was brian''s total commission on these three sales, Mathematics

Assignment Help:

Brian is a real estate agent. He forms a 2.5% commission on each sale. During the month of June he sold three houses. The houses sold for $153,000, $299,000, and $121,000. What was Brian's total commission on these three sales?

First, ?nd out the total of Brian's sales; $153,000 + $299,000 + $121,000 = $573,000. To ?nd out 2.5% of $573,000, multiply through the decimal equivalent of 2.5%; $573,000 × 0.025 = $14,325. If you chose a, you used the decimal 0.25, which is 25%, NOT 2.5%.
