It is the earliest known vitamin.
It gives resistance against cold and virus.

It is necessary for healing of the wound.
It is essential for formation of collagen fibres, cartilage, teeth, connective tissue & RBC.
It is vitamin for normal heart beat.
Sources are citrous fruits (Amulla, tomato, orange).
Deficiency of vitamin C causes
(falling of gums, bleeding in gum, loosing of teeth, falling of teeth).
