Theorem of three moments, Civil Engineering

Theorem of three moments:

You have been introduced to the analysis of one of the important class of structures, namely Statically Indeterminate Structures. You have been introduced to the solution of three types of such structures, namely, propped cantilevers, fixed beams and continuous beams. The methods of solution to which you have been introduced are (a) the method of consistent deformations, and (b) the theorem of three moments.
