A strategy defines a collection of moves or actions a player can follow in a very given game. a method should be complete, defining an action in each contingency, together with people who might not be attainable in equilibrium. for instance, a method for the sport of checkers would outline a player's move at each potential position attainable throughout a game. Such moves could also be random, within the case of mixed methods.
