Sources of risk
Sources of risk will be organized into categories such as customer risk, delivery risk and technical (product) risk. Within each category, specific sources of risk will be identified and risk reduction techniques applied.
Customer risk is related to the customer''s key success aspects for the project. A project is not successful if the customer is not thriving with the system. The key success factors are established in both the customer''s requirements and the context or environment within which the system and its users can function. These will vary from person to person, even for similar systems.
