1. use a small perl program and matching config file to retrieve and reformat the system time for a number of remote machines via snmp.  Readings should have a local timestamp for comparison purposes and be stored in a local file.

2. Provide all active snmpd.conf lines to "expose" only the data needed to satisfy the above task (only include applicable comments) as comments in the header of the program file.

3. crontab line(s) that can be inserted into a machine to run the perl script once every 5 minutes at an appropriate time

4. a crontab line to email the daily results to the local system administrator before the start of the business day.
