1- Explain the rationale of using a small WD to improve resolution.

2- In a tungsten SEM , Why does a high accelerating voltage provide the potential for higher resolution?  Why is this counterintuitive?

3- Comment on the desired coating thickness for an insulating sample where maximum resolution is required. What material/s do you suggest for coating and why?
